Last Week's Results

Bounce into Spring

The tips chugged along pretty well last week, even with the gusty wind, closed members grandstand and tomato sauce stain on the good tie. From eight races, there were three winners on top, which did include two shorties, but we also found the trick winner in the selections for Race 2 - which very few others tipped.

Race 2 : 14-SPECTER 1st W=$10.60
Race 4 : 1-SEPOY 1st W=$1.10
Race 6 : 6-PINKER PINKER 1st W=$6.20
Race 8 : 4-DECEMBER DRAW 1st W=$1.80

The Betting Portfolio had a pretty good day, recording a +$54 profit with the following collects. We were unlucky not to make a bit more too, with both our quinella bets looking pretty good in the last 100M, but ending up with 1sts and frustrating 3rds.

BEST WIN Race 5: 6-PINKER PINKER $4 1st W=$6.20 = $24.80
TRI = $31.00 = $77.50

Embarrassingly our Lay of the Day won for the 3 time in 4 weeks. From here we can either sulk, totally wuss it and start tipping 20-1 shots (which will probably win anyway), or keep taking on short priced favourites and hopefully create a fantastic running joke as they continue to win week in and week out.

However, the good news is that we are now back in the black overall this season with our suggested bets.

Betting Portfolio : 4 weeks, 2 profit, 2 returns, 0 wipe outs

Spring Campaign 2011 : Spent : $200.00 - Return : $225.05 - Net : +$25.05
