Dud Tips Equals Much Profit ?

The Turf Deli tips crashed out badly last Saturday at Caulfield, with only one winner somehow managing to sneak it's way into the selections. And yet - we managed to post a rather nice +$180 profit in the Betting Portfolio ! What sort of sorcery be this ? It can only be witchcraft - or the many ups and downs of the punting rollercoaster.

Fortunately, the only winner was also our main bet of the day, the winner of the feature race :

BEST BET : Race 7: 12-RESPONSE $15 WIN 1st W=$5.00 = $75
QUINELLA : Race 7: 12-RESPONSE, 11-NO EVIDENCE NEEDED x $5 QUIN=$30.90 =$154.50

Plus we also snared a fraction of a disappointing trifecta in the same race in the $5 Turf Deli Wonder Bet.

In the detailed critical form summary we summed up the main race pretty much as close as you can get, handing out the $5 Winner and $31 Quinella, and giving pretty strong hints about the $575 Trifecta and $6700 First Four. Plus we canned the chances of the hopelessly over rated WE'RE GONNA ROCK, who did run well, but should have been closer to 100-1 rather than 10-1 if you ignored the stable and media advertising blitz.

The Betting Portfolio is comfortably cruising through spring : 6 weeks : 4 profits, 2 returns, 0 wipe outs.

The Wipe Out is almost certainly coming very soon in Super Surround Vivid 3D. Current running profit this season is a rather tidy +$377.25, or 207% if you prefer percentages. Graphs, pie charts and glossy brochures showing earnest, suited, accounting professional types concerned about their financial future also available on request.
