In the feature the favourite the 2-VEGA MAGIC is definitely the one to beat and looks hard to beat with not much pressure up front from that barrier. The $2 on offer are totally rubbish odds though in such a talented field. The value runners here are the under rated. 11-SUPER CASH, who is going to get the perfect on speed sit here from the barrier , and the 5-ROCK MAGIC which is fitter for the 2 runs in and has loomed up nicely both times and suited out to the 1200M here.
BEST BET: Race 1: 5-DODGING BULLETS $10 WIN
Going to start rubbish odds in a small field but should control the speed here. Missed the start 2 starts back and had to run on against normal racing pattern, and fought on well at Caulfield when probably should have been in the slot the winner was, but jockey let him cross. Really should just win, though the last bit of the 2000M is a little concern.

Hit the front under a hold a long way out last start and then just beaten by one on his inside. Mixed it with these before and should get a good, clear run on speed from a middle barrier and be in the finish at around $7.50

Definitely prefers some rain, but has been promising in most runs this time in and should be fitter for the 2000M run last start when the slow tempo didn’t suit. Solid staying type and if the pressure goes on a long way from home will be suited. Like that she is drawn out to swoop around them late as she is a strong finishing back marker. Each way at around $12 is great value in a very even field.

Key to these 955M races is getting a clear run, the pressure always goes on a long way out, and this one is drawn to run on well from an outside barrier. Back each way at around $8, and value in the quinella here 9,10,13 in an open betting race.
BEST ROUGH: Race 7: 11-SUPER CASH $3 EW
Still a bit under rated and she just looks to get the run of the race here, barrier 8, goes forward to sit clear outside the leader the short priced favourite the (2). Might find that one better, but think she is crazy odds tonight at around $26 and more than capable of an upset, if any of the favoured runners flop.
BEST ROUGH: Race 8: 10-DAN ZEPHYR $2 EW
Honest on pacer when right and was held up for runs for the entire length of the straight at Cranbourne (and that always seems to happen in that race). There isn’t that much speed here and can push forward from an inside barrier here if they wish, and a nice value chance in the last at around $14.
